Trisha is regarded as an authority on both digital and traditional formats. Trisha's career began on the cusp of the digital age, when film was the format of choice, allowing her a chance to master both 16mm and 35mm cinematography.

As technology has advanced so has Trisha's capacity, "HD can be a beautiful format if treated correctly. It’s not the format that makes the cinematographer, but rather the framing and lighting from that cinematographer that makes the format. All formats have pro’s and cons to work within, it’s a matter of knowing those limitations and choosing what works best for each project. The advancement of 35mm lens adapters for HD cameras create the ability to get an emotive 35mm image with HD prices. Great stories that could not find financial backing are finally getting told in cheaper digital formats. It's a very exciting time."
Trisha is proud to be a jack of all mediums. Whether it be narrative films, music videos, commercials, industrials, internet, or documentaries, Trisha shows consistent distinction in her field. She is also an accomplished tabletop and still life photographer.
In her 7 years of professional shooting, Trisha has developed a style with naturalistic lighting and a unique flare for drama, "I definitely have developed a style, it's inevitable, but I don't push my 'style' on the work. Each project brings up new ideas and opportunities, and I like to use those as a springboard for the look and feel of the film. I prefer to be outside of my comfort zone. I want the new and the daring."
Trisha’s earliest influences came from trailblazing cinematographers: Roger Deakins, Conrad Hall, and Ellen Kuras. She tries to emulate their ability to push boundaries, incorporating new and old techniques to focus on the best image to tell the story, "If I can create films half as well as they have, I will have been a success." Trisha's more recently developed a taste for the work of Wally Pfister, Declan Quinn, Andrew Lesnie, and Geoff Erb, DP for Law and Order SVU. Trisha's admiration for Geoff Erb has only been amplified by their friendship, "Geoff has been invaluable. He is an excellent and creative DP, as well as a true friend and mentor. The world could do with a few more Geoff Erbs."
Trisha is always accepting scripts and concepts for new projects.
